Johnson Moore repurposes for children’s clothing line

Alumna Jessica Johnson Moore (BEDA 1999, MARCH 2003) was recognized earlier this year by Laura Ashley USA for her custom children’s clothing line, Little Grey Line, which re-purposes men’s dress shirts for children’s dresses and apparel.

Born out of an idea of using her husband’s old dress shirts, which initially lost it’s usefulness due to wear and tear, the shirts were re-purposed to create a sustainable and “resourceful design solution” for her two-year old daughter.

Now the line is dedicated to giving new purpose to an old item and each dress is hand-fabricated.
