Audio-Visual equipment is available for checkout by students currently enrolled in Design courses. Normal maximum check-out time is 24 hours. Please borrow equipment only as long as necessary and return promptly when finished to maximize the availability to other students. Other people are likely waiting to use it. Late returns will result in loss of check-out privileges until the equipment is returned. Loss or damage of equipment will result in charges for replacements or repairs plus a $25.00 charge. Don’t leave equipment laying around unsecured.

If you are checking out equipment you aren’t familiar with, please ask how to use it so the equipment isn’t damaged. You are responsible for any damage to equipment while in your possession.

Reservations are accepted. Users may reserve and pick up equipment at the IT Lab window in Brooks 203. The phone number is 919.515.3160.

The IT Lab is open from the first day of classes until the last day of exams each semester or summer session.

Fall and Spring Semester Hours
Monday -Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Summer Session Hours
Monday -Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
