Get Involved

The classroom is just the start of your environmental and natural resources education at NC State. In addition to numerous laboratory and field opportunities, you’ll discover student organizations like the Wolfpack Environmental Student Association, as well as international activities that broaden your horizons and help you gain a global perspective about environmental issues.

These programs are a great way for you to practice your environmental and natural resource management skills in real-world settings, make valuable peer and career contacts, or simply meet like-minded students so you can work together to make a difference in the world.

ES&NR students adhere to the following self-developed contract:

NC State University Contract with the Environment

  • I will learn how my daily actions affect the environment resources.

  • I will live by reducing environmental impacts.

  • I will engage others about human relationships with the environment.

  • I will sustain actions to improve the environment and conserve natural resources.
