The Marine and Coastal Resources concentration provides a thorough grounding in fundamental processes and the interdisciplinary nature of the coastal ocean. You will learn how to independently review geological, biological, physical, and chemical data, critically assess these data sets, and make responsible decisions regarding the management of coastal and marine resources. This is an interdisciplinary program that prepares you for a career as a manager, administrator, or regulator with private and governmental agencies or consulting companies concerned with the development and management of resources and land use practices within coastal zones.
