Minor Program
The Feed Milling Minor prepares students to work in the feed manufacturing and allied industries. Upon completion of the minor, students will understand feed mill operations, components of a feed and ingredient quality assurance program, and keys to successfully operating a safe and efficiency feed mill. Graduates of the program work in commercial and integrated feed operations, ingredient sales and technical support, and government agencies.
The minor can be combined with a BS degree from the Departments of Animal Science, Poultry Science, and Biological and Agricultural Engineering. Courses in feed manufacturing, quality assurance, and management will be offered through both on-campus and distance education programs.
