Welcome to the FEAS Lab at North Carolina State University. This lab is a combined unit representing the works of Dr. Jim Rice and Dr. Derek Aday. Our lab group focuses on general issues in freshwater and marine systems, from conservation and toxicology to population biology and fisheries management. Affiliated with the Department of Biology and the Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology Program at NC State University in Raleigh, NC, our lab conducts research that addresses theoretical and applied ecological questions. Members of our lab range from undergraduates to post-doctoral researchers and opportunities often exist at all levels.
