EXPLODE Command:

AutoCAD Command List

The EXPLODE command allows you to change a grouped item into its individual elements so it can be edited.

To select the Explode command you can:

click on the Explode button on the Draw toolbar,

OR

type x or explode at a Command: prompt,

OR

select Explode under the Modify Menu.

--Prompt: Select objects:. Click on item/s to explode and press Enter.
