MVSETUP Command:


AutoCAD Command List

With this command (which stands for Multiview Setup) you can realign views in the MODEL side of Paper Space.


To access the Mvsetup command, type mvsetup at a Command: prompt.


—Prompt: Enable Paper/Modelspace? [Yes/N0]<Y>: Press Enter. (*NOTE: This prompt does not appear if you are in the MODEL side of Paper Space.)

—Prompt: Enter an option [Align/Create/Scale/
Options/Title block/Undo]: Type a then Enter.

—Prompt: Enter an option [Angled/Horizontal/
Vertical alignment/Rotate view/Undo]: Select the appropriate option for aligning the objects in the views. (*NOTE: If you are aligning the Front and Right Side views, use the Horizontal option at this prompt. If you are aligning the Front and Top views, use the Vertical option at this prompt.)

—Prompt: Basepoint: Select a point, with an Osnap or coordinate, in one viewport with which you can align the adjacent view(s).

—Prompt: Other point: Select the equivalent point, with an Osnap or coordinate, in an adjacent viewport.

—Prompt: Angled/Horizontal/
Vertical alignment/Rotate view/Undo: Select a new option or press Enter to exit command.
