OPEN Command:

AutoCAD Command List

This command opens a file that has already been created.

To open a file you can:

type in open at a Command: prompt,

OR

select Open under the File Menu,

OR

double click the Left Mouse button on the file.

For the first two methods of accessing this command, a dialogue box will open displaying the current directory and the files in that directory.
