Create a Table

 

Let's insert a table on your document resume.html. Move your cursor into a blank line by pressing return at the end of a paragraph. Click the Insert table button. On the table editor you will decide how you want your table to look. You can always go back to this editor to make changes.

After viewing the samples below you should be able to add a simple table to your page. You may include whatever information you think would be appropriate for this page. Experiment with the settings to get the table exactly like you want it.

Spacing

The amount of space between cells (by making the border thicker)

Padding

The amount of space around the data in cells

Padding = 10



Col Span

Change how many columns a cell spans

Col span= 2

This cell spans 2 columns

Row Span

Change how many rows a cell spans.

 

Row span=2

This cell spans two rows

Border

A setting of 0 makes the borders of the table invisible

This table has a border =5




Let's look at some examples: All of the tables below have a width of 40%
