The Fun Starts Here

Employee Appreciation Week was, by all accounts, the most fun you could have without getting indicted, or at least pleading nolo contendere. Between the free yoga classes, fun run, employee carnival, and benefits and wellness fair, the week involved a non-stop whirlwind of activities designed to put a little 'Wheee!" back in your week.

Under the auspices of the Human Resources Department, a dedicated group of volunteers worked tirelessly to make the week a success. Employees responded enthusiastically, polishing off truckloads of pizza, competing for hundreds of prizes, and belting out reasonably on-key versions of their favorite songs.

Don't Let Drought Put Damper on Gardening

Your garden doesn't have to suffer during the drought. The JC Raulston Arboretum is holding a free clinic this Saturday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that will focus on waterwise gardening, drought resistant plants and native plants.
