NC State Honors Memory of UNC's Carson

NC State senior class president Zach Adams reflects on Eve Carson's life.

Members of the NC State community honored the memory of UNC-Chapel Hill student body president Eve Carson on Tuesday with a moment of silence and reflection on the Brickyard.

"We wanted to show that everyone at NC State shares in grieving for Eve Carson," said Zach Adams, senior class president at NC State and one of the organizers of the event. "She really touched a lot of people outside of Chapel Hill."

Following remarks by Adams, student body president Bobby Mills, and student senate president Greg Doucette, those gathered at the Brickyard bowed their heads in a moment of silence.

Students also passed out Carolina blue ribbons and collected money to contribute the Eve Carson Memorial Fund, which has been established at UNC.
