Statement from the Chancellor

Likewise, the entire NC State community benefits from diverse perspectives and opinions that often follow from differences in gender, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age, and ability among its members, not to mention the breadth of viewpoints and ideas represented in the numerous other ways that each of us in our own unique way contributes to our collective diversity. Finally, let's not overlook that when we engage in providing the principles of equal opportunity to others, we are helping to ensure that we, as individuals, will be afforded the same chances for ourselves.
