SAPLA Fall Conference 2007
Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill
North Carolina

We are so excited that you are planning to join us
at the conference in the fall!

Law Fair will be held on Friday, more information found below.

When
: Thursday, September 27th through Saturday September 29th

Where: North Carolina at the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham and the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill

Registration Materials and Downloads:
These materials will also be mailed during the summer. You are however encouraged to make all the reservations as soon as possible to get a good flight, avoid additional conference charges, as well as, to secure your hotel rooms.

Currently the forms are in a version of PDF which must be downloaded and completed, we are also going to have a version you can complete on line, save for yourself, and then fax. This is being done to help with the legibility of the forms as they are faxed to a few offices.

  • Letter from Conference Chair
  • Mailing Materials : Please print this document with all the instructions and procedures for mailing materials.
  • Hotel Information -
The deadline for room reservations to assure space at the hotel with the original rates for all nights was September 5th.
Currently rooms are available but the rate for Wednesday and Thursday night is $254.00 and the rate for Friday and Saturday is $85.00 (this is less than the contracted rate because the SAPLA contract rate included Tuesday through Saturday nights). TO GET THESE RATES, you must call the hotel directly (919.94.5050) otherwise, or you will get even higher rates.
Additional Hotels adjacent to Sheraton: The Springhill Suites hotel by Marriott shares a parking lot - 919-998-9500. As well as, Comfort Suites, 919.314.1200 Chad Lang said rates would be closer to our original with Sheraton.
  • Program at a Glance
  • All attendees will receive the NAPLA/SAPLA Book of Law School Lists and the SAPLA Handbook for Advisers
  • Special Plenary Friday Evening at the Morehead Planetarium and the Historic Carolina Inn
