Free admittance to the park grounds and center. Small fee for mill tours.

The mill is 5 miles south of downtown Raleigh and 2 miles south of Interstate 440.

From Raleigh
Take exit #297 from I-440 (same exit as the Farmer's Market).
Go south on Lake Wheeler Road 2.8 miles to the park entrance on your right past the NCSU Poultry Field Research Station, and just prior to the intersection of Lake Wheeler Road and Penny Road.
