Yates Mill Associates is a non-profit organization that is responsible for restoring and operating the mill at the county park. There are about 400 active members, many of whom assist with demonstrating the mill.

Membership funds are used to maintain and operate the mill. Members receive an award-winning newsletter quarterly, invitations to member events, and the satisfaction of knowing they are contributing to the preservation and demonstration of an important historic structure.
