CHARGE
The
task force is advisory to the Provost and has the following charge:
- Review the
Office of the President report and recommendations made to the Personnel
and Tenure Committee, UNC Board of Governors, regarding non-tenure
track faculty
- Review best
practices and models for employment of non-tenure track faculty
- Solicit, if
needed, information from departments and colleges on current practices
at NC State regarding non-tenure track faculty
- Advice the Provost
on specific campus responses to the eight recommendations made in
the report including titles, contracts, benefits, etc.
