2-1.7.3 PLACEMENT IN BIOLOGY
Entering students with a strong background in science and biology can take
a departmental examination to qualify for credit by examination in BIO
125 or BIO 105. Students must register in advance and meet certain eligibility
requirements to receive credit. The examination is given at the beginning
of each semester. Students passing either of the examinations are granted
credits in BIO 125 or BIO 105 as appropriate. Credits may be granted
for BIO 125, BIO 105, or elective courses, as appropriate for the respective
curricula.
