9-3.1 ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS OF RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT

Members of the academic community who need support services or have questions regarding rape and sexual assault are encouraged to contact one of these campus and/or community resources: (1) Health Promotion, Student Health Services, 515-9355, for confidential information and referral and prevention programming; (2) the NCSU Counseling Center, Student Health Services, 515-2423, for confidential counseling services; (3) NCSU Student Health Services, Student Health Center, 515-2563, for gynecological care and emotional support for rape survivors; (4) Interact's Rape Crisis Center and 24-Hour Crisis Line, 828-3005, 612 Wade Ave., Raleigh, NC, 27605, for shelter, crisis intervention, and community education for survivors of sexual assault; (5) the NCSU Campus Police, Field House, 515-3333, to report crimes and for assistance throughout the legal process; and (6) the NCSU Women's Center, Talley Student Center, 515-2012, for information, support, and referral, and their Molly Hays Glander 24-hour response line, 218-9102. In an effort to collect better campus data, advisers should request a "Rape/Sexual Assault Data Collection Survey" from Student Health Services to anonymously report interactions with victims/survivors.
