The main research facility of the School Psychology program is located in Room 634 of Poe Hall. The Psychoeducational Clinic serves multiple functions for faculty and students associated with the NC State School Psychology Program. It is an area where activities surrounding several faculty research projects take place, including Parents and Children Together (PACT; Dr. Haskett), the Kindergarten Transition Study (KiTS; Dr. Haskett), the School Consultation Research Project (SCRP; Dr. Erchul), and Reading Interventions to Improve Fluency (Dr. Begeny). A future research project will examine the utility and efficacy of various reading fluency intervention and assessment methods (Dr. Begeny). Group testing and intervention activities sponsored by the Psychoeducational Clinic also occur in the School Psychology research facility. Finally, the facility houses a modest lending library for the benefit of students enrolled in the School Psychology Program. Links | |
