Several types of financial aid are available to students. Within the Department
of Psychology, students can obtain teaching and research assistantships.
Teaching and research assistantships typically include stipends, tuition,
and health insurance. Other forms of financial assistance are available
through the Office of Financial Aid, including scholarships, grants, loans,
and campus employment. Currently, the Department pays $14,000 for the academic
year for a half-time (20 hours a week) Teaching Assistant, which includes
in-state tuition remission, health insurance, and benefits. Most other assistantships
