Biography
Mary Haskett, Associate Professor of Psychology, is a member
of the School Psychology program faculty. She received her B.A. in psychology
[with a minor in dance:)] from Meredith College in 1982. M.A. and Ph.D.
degrees were awarded in School and Clinical Psychology from Florida State
University in 1984 and 1988, respectively. Dr. Haskett completed the APA-approved
internship at Medical University of South Carolina, where she was a research
fellow at the Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center. Following internship,
she was employed by a non-profit center for abusive families and sexual
assault victims. In 1990 she joined the faculty at NC State University.
Dr. Haskett is a licensed psychologist and Health Services Provider in
NC. Beginning in Fall, 2003, Dr. Haskett will be on a 5-year leave from
75% of her faculty duties as a result of a Career Development Award from
the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
