Raleigh Civic Symphony Association
The Raleigh Civic Symphony Association, formerly known as the Raleigh-Wake County Orchestra Development Association, Inc. (SODA), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Incorporated in 1975, its mission is to support the orchestras financially through grants, individual and business fund drives; provide outreach into the community; and develop opportunities and support for collaboration. The orchestras’ unique blend of community and university musicians, professionals and amateurs, and exciting innovative repertoire holds the potential for many innovative projects.
The Raleigh Civic Symphony Association is supported by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County with funds from the Grassroots Arts Council, a state agency, Wake County and the United Arts Campaign. The Association is also funded in part by the City of Raleigh based on the recommendations of the Raleigh Arts Commission.
Contributions from individuals and business are welcomed. If you would like to make a donation to the RCSA in support of the orchestras, please send your tax-deductible donation to: Mary Sherk, Executive Director, RCSA, Price Music Center, Box 7311, NC State University, Raleigh, NC 27695
