These courses must be selected from the approved GER listings for Humanities and Social Sciences and must include: 3 hours in literature; 3 hours in history, philosophy, or religion; 3 hours in the visual and performing arts or history; one additional course (3 hours). 5. Communications/Speech elective to be chosen from COM 110, COM 112, COM 146, or COM 211.

6. Economics Elective to be chosen from ARE 212, EC 201, or EC 205.

7. Environmental Policy Option to be chosen from PS 320 or PS 336.

8. First Geologic Option to be chosen from MEA 250/MEA 251 or any geology course at the 300 level or higher.

9. Statistical Science option to be chosen from any 300 level Statistics course. Note: may not double-count courses for this and the Math/Statistics Option--see footnote 11.

10. Also satisfies the Science, Technology & Society requirement.

11. Math/Statistics Option to be selected from ST 302, MA 305, MA 341, MA 405, or CH 220 if a geochemical focus is desired.

12. Natural Science Elective to be chosen from MEA 130, FOR 252, or PY 124/125.

13. Second Geology Option is any additional 400 or 500 level geology course.
