2. Substitute CH 101 and 102 in fall if ENG 101 must be taken in spring due to course availability.

3. These courses to be selected from the approved GER listings for Social Science and Humanities and must include 3 hours in literature; 3 hours in history, philosophy, religion; 3 hours in the visual and performing arts or history; two courses (6 hours) from different content areas in the study of psychology, economics, politics, sociology, anthropology or cultural geography; three additional courses (9 hours) from the humanities/social sciences disciplines; one course from among those offered on the GER list for Science, Technology, and Society from a Humanities or Social Sciences perspective. At least one course selection must focus on a non-English speaking culture.

4. One of the following: MA 114, MA 231, MA 241 or ST 311 .

5. Any Physical Education course at the 100 level.

6. CSC 200 recommended but CSC 112, CSC 114 or CSC 116 may be substituted.

7. MEA 250/251 or any MEA course at the 300 level or higher. Select electives in consultation with your advisor.

8. Select one course in surficial processes from among MEA 250, MEA 411, MEA 481, and MEA 485.

9. One of the following: BIO 181, PB 200, PY 212, or SSC 200.

10. One of the following: ENG 331, ENG 332, or ENG 333.

11. Advised electives may be in geology or in a supporting field. Select in consultation with your advisor.

12. Any course from the Science, Technology, and Society from the Humanities and Social Sciences Perspectives GER listing.

13. Graduation also requires foreign language proficiency at the FL_ 102 level.
