All students should be able to have their concerns heard and addressed by the appropriate authorities.
If you are taking a North Carolina State University course and you have a complaint about your experience with NC State, there are several options available to you:
- If you are an undergraduate student you can follow NC State’s REG 11.40.01 - Grievance Procedure for Undergraduate Students
- If you are a graduate student you can follow NC State’s REG 11.40.2 – Grievance Procedure for Graduate Students
- You may also contact NC State’s regional accrediting agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges
- If you are residing outside of North Carolina while attending NC State you may be able to file a complaint in the state where you are residing. Please see the list of state contacts for individual state information.
