1.Humanities and social science elective to meet General Education Requirements must include:
PSY 200 Introduction to Psychology, PS 201 Introduction to American Government, SOC 202 Principles of Sociology, and IDS 303 Humans and the Environment are recommended as humanities and social science electives in the last two categories for students planning further study in human nutrition. If IDS 303 is not selected, another course must come from the Science, Technology and Society, Humanities Perspective list. 2.Students who take introductory biology in the 160 option rather than the 2 semester BIO 181/183 must select an additional biological science elective course from: PB (ZO) 360 Introduction to Ecology, 3 credits and PB (ZO) 365 Ecology Lab, 1 cr; or ZO 260 Evolution, Behavior, and Ecology, 4 cr; or GN 411 Principles of Genetics, 4 cr; or FS 405 Food Microbiology, 3 cr. |
