Footnotes:

Notes:
1. Students enrolled in the Natural Resources, Policy and Administration curriculum must follow the curriculum and make reasonable progress toward the degree.

2. Additional graduation requirements:

a. Earn a minimum grade of C in ENG 101.
b. Achieve foreign language proficiency at the FL 102 level.

1. Students with appropriate math skills are encouraged to take the math sequence MA 141-241. Credit earned in MA 107, MA 108, or MA 111 does not apply toward the 128 minimum credit hours required for graduation. Credit for MA 114-121 is allowed when presented by transfer students.

2. Two semesters of physical education are required for graduation. At least one course must fulfill the "Fitness and Wellness" requirement (any PE course at the 100-level.) Students may elect S/U grading for all PE courses.

3. A professional development program is integrated into the curriculum that consists of a required summer work experience between the junior and senior years and two professional development courses. Students who take NR 301 inthe junior year will prepare for NR 360 and seek a summer job for the following summer and will participate in presentations made by seniors enrolled in NR 401 that focus on the previous summer's work experience. A member of the teaching faculty will assist students in finding an appropriate summer job. NR 401 for the seniors will consist of written and oral reports on summer work experiences and professional development activities.

4. 12 credit hours of humanities/social science electives, distributed as shown below, must be selected from the university lists at http://www.ncsu.edu/provost/academic_programs/ger/

1. Literature - 3 credit hours
2. History, Philosophy, or Religion - 3 credit hours.
3. Visual and Performing Arts or History - 3 credit hours.

5. Technical Electives - 24 credit hours: select 6 credit hours from the biological sciences courses and 18 credit hours from the managment sciences courses. Select at least one course from each of the three management sciences categories. Take note of prerequisite courses to the technical electives when planning your course schedule.
