NC State University responds to Hurricane Katrina
In an effort to help students affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, North Carolina State University is offering enrollment to students from affected universities in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
NC State is working to provide on-campus and distance education programs to as many affected students as possible. Students in good standing at their home college or university will be eligible to enroll at NC State as visiting non-degree students. Please note that the University of North Carolina
Board of Governors has approved a tuition waiver for displaced students. For more information please review the University of North Carolina Board of Governors Resolution (pdf).
The Office of Credit Programs & Summer Sessions will assist all visiting students. Staff will be available to personally assist students through the enrollment process and to coordinate help with financial aid, housing, and other related departments. To initiate enrollment please contact:
