Readmission
If you are a previously enrolled undergraduate degree student but did not attend the previous semester (fall/spring), you must complete a readmission application and have received an official notice of readmission before attempting to enroll (register).
Graduate students must receive an "Approval for Leave of Absence" letter from the Graduate School, complete a readmission application and have received an official notice of readmission before attempting to enroll (register).
If you are a previously enrolled non-degree student (UGS/PBS) but did not attend the previous semester (fall/spring), you must complete a readmission application and have received an official notice of readmission before attempting to enroll (register).
Students who were eligible to continue at the time of leaving and who have a grade point average of at least 2.0 on all courses taken at NC State are eligible to be readmitted to their former program, provided the program has the capacity to accept additional students. For more information on readmission eligibility, please see the Policies, Regulations & Rules website.
