Communication for Engineering and Technology

ALL students will need the following computer tools (and the ability to use them) to take this online course:

  • A computer with audio speakers
  • Internet service
  • An e-mail program that allows you to send and receive attachments
  • A Java-enabled web browser (with appropriate plug-ins)
  • A word-processing program that will let you save files in Microsoft Word (.doc) format
  • Presentation software (PowerPoint)
  • A file compression/ decompression program (for zipping and unzipping files)
  • A PDF reader (Acrobat)
  • RealOne Player (to listen to audio files)
