- An e-mail program that allows you to send and receive attachments
- A Java-enabled web browser (with appropriate plug-ins)
- A word-processing program that will let you save files in Microsoft Word (.doc) format
- Presentation software (PowerPoint)
- A file compression/ decompression program (for zipping and unzipping files)
- A PDF reader (Acrobat)
- RealOne Player (to listen to audio files)
