Eligibility & Approval

Eligibility

Eligibility requirements may differ at each institution. Students should check with the Registrar's Office on their campus for specific requirements.

NC State Students

Any degree-seeking NC State student may register for courses through the inter-institutional registration programs as long as they are approved to participate. However, men may not register for courses at Peace College.

Approval to Participate

Undergraduate Students

An undergraduate degree-seeking student who is registered for at least 12 credit hours may take one course at a participating institution if the student’s academic advisor and dean can certify that the course is required for the student’s degree program and that the course is not available at the home institution.

Graduate Students

A graduate degree-seeking student must be registered at NC State to take a course at a participating institution. The student’s graduate advisor must certify that the course is required for the student’s degree program and the course is not available at the home institution.
