Finding your IP address differs among operating systems. If you are using Windows XP or Vista, you can find you IP address by using the ipconfig utility. Mac users can find their IP address by going to their network control panel (OSX and OS9). Linux users can find their IP address through netconfig. |

NC State offers 350MB of file space for you to use for file storage and IMAP email. To access this space from your personal computer, you can use an SFTP program. |

Students attending NC State have the use of a state-of-the-art campus data network and state-of-the-art computer labs. Except for the College of Design, there is no requirement for a student to own a computer. However, most students find they benefit tremendously from having their own. |

You can connect up to 5 devices, but you must provide your own hub or switch. A router is not necessary, but you can use one if you like. |
