By living in University Housing or signing up for ResNet service on Greek Court, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth below for this service. The terms for service include abiding by the University's Administrative Regulations for Computer Use and other applicable state and federal laws and University rules and regulations.

ResNet customers are responsible for following the complete rules and regulations for computer use on campus, including any updates. You may also wish to view the ResNet Customer Support Agreement for additional expectations of customers and ResNet staff.

Terms and Conditions Specific to ResNet

• Customer Responsibility
  The ResNet customer is responsible for all use of the network connection.
• Anti-Virus Software
  ResNet customers using Windows or Macintosh operating systems are required to use regularly updated anti-virus software on their computer(s). NC State provides antivirus software free of charge to students, staff and faculty. (See the University anti-virus information page.)
  
  
• Correspondence from ResNet
  ResNet customers will receive occasional correspondence from ResNet staff. By agreeing to the terms and conditions for service, you agree to receive this information.
  
• Service Interruptions
  Network service may be interrupted on occasion. ResNet will work to restore service as soon as practicable; however, NC State and ResNet are not responsible for any losses or damages caused by service interruptions or other failures in University equipment. • Payment of Bill and Cancellation of Service
  The customer is responsible for the payment of all charges. The service fee will be prorated for those subscribing part way through the semester (on Greek Court) or moving into or out of University Housing part way through the semester. ResNet service charges are independent of the Education and Technology fee that all students pay each semester. Customers living on Greek Court are responsible for notifying ResNet of cancellation of service via the ResNet web site (http://www.ncsu.edu/resnet/pages/greek_court/greek_court.php). Failure to notify ResNet will result in continued charges for service.
  
  

• Acceptance of Agreement
  The customer's signature on the Housing Application Form, completion of the Housing Application process via the web, or completion of the Greek Court sign up form on the web binds the customer to this ResNet Agreement and signifies that the customer has received, read and agrees to abide by all conditions, terms and policies contained in the Agreement. In addition, it authorizes ResNet to charge the customer's student account for ResNet service.
