 Do you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about ResNet, the Office of Information Technology, or any of the questions on this survey?
* No
* n/a
* Wireless access in the Quad area on East campus is awful. The computers in the library are very, very slow to load and log off. The computers in the Honors Village computer lab aren't as slow, so I feel like this is something that could be fixed. There should be more color printers, or at least a map of where the color printers are located. Also, the library charges more to print black and white pages than other places on campus, which isn't fair.
* You should not make cable required in the student fee. I'm very annoyed that Wolf Village is making us pay for cable, when I don't watch television almost ever.
* You should have a definition of what ResNet actually is on this survey.
* nope
* I don't use antivirus because I use Linux
* No
* Wireless routers should be loaned out to students wishing to have wireless access in their rooms.
* Setting up unity email with Microsft outlook is very difficult, especially if you frequently use your email at different locations. i.e. If you use it at home and on campus. You have to change the account settings each time and that makes it quite difficult to use.
* It would be nice for wireless internet in the dorms!
* The majority of the Walk-In Center staff was helpful when I had numerous computer issues, most notably Cameron Alexander (he was extremely friendly and hard-working). However, there needs to be a better communication system between our OIT and IBM/Lenovo. When my computer was being repaired, there were so many miscommunications and the amount of time I had to wait for my computer was ridiculous. Also, loaners of better quality would be much appreciated.
* No.
* Place more wireless hotspots in dorms. They are useful when the power goes out since the wireless access does not fail. Also it would be helpful if a guest was visiting and a switch is not available. Otherwise, I love the speed and quality, it is very useful when downloading large applications like CAD, other software, or videos and allows games to preform flawlessly.
* I think it is fantastic that NCSU provides pretty much open network access. It means that, for my computer networking class, I am free to do lab exercises and course assignments from any computer, rather than needing some special un-firewalled setup. It also means that I can occasionally use P2P technology (like when the newest version of Linux comes out) and work on my own programming/technology projects without trying to work around firewalls. I can do research without having blocked websites (for example, research on security in computers, or about certain topics in sociology/English classes - sites which are often blocked.) This openness has made living and learning on campus much better than living at home. So, if there were ever any thoughts of restricting access in any way, please know that some of us legitimately use these resources to learn and grow!
* HD channels and wifi in the upper floors of dorms
* resnet is amazing. though i do experience some problems in the library because my computer always switches between wireless sources so i sometimes lose internet for a minute or two
* No

* Cable is way too expensive, there is no reason the rates we are paying should be allowed, especially for college students. Either lower them, or give more options on channel selections (less or more).
* no
* Nope.
* Nope...
* nope
* The cable quality here at NCSU is horrible. It is really fuzzy all over campus (not just in one place). That is why I do not subscribe to it
* nope
* Frat court has some connections problems in Spring 2009. But they would only last a couple hours.
* there need to be more internet ports or wireless internet provided in the resident halls (I can not access nomad from my room).
* I'm not sure why, but the ResNet service in my room has been relatively slow all year. I recently had a lot of issues trying to load a website to look at a potential grad school in my room, but when I moved to the computer lab it worked fine, which I think points to a problem because of a slow connection as opposed to a problem with my computer. (The site did not work on my roommate's computer in our room, but loaded fine on a friend's laptop in the lab.)
* no
* The HELP desk should return phone calls. I called for help when my hard drive crashed last week and got the answering service, left my name and number, but never heard back from anyone. This did me absolutely no good and left me paying for/dealing with the computer company for hours on end.
* This survey is really long.
* Service is good.
* No
* I would like to see the final statistics on some of these questions.
* The only suggestion I could have is to have a stronger wireless signal in Tucker, but that's just being nit picky. Great job this year.
* no
* no
* A great improvement to the ResNet TV cable system would be an optional upgrade to digital cable with HD channels and content. I don't know what it would take to make that happen, but I would probably purchase cable each semester if it was, even if it was a little more expensive. I do not currently pay for the university's cable service because a few digital channels are available over the air for free.
* I'm wondering if people really do win the prizes offered in the drawings that you advertise for completing the surveys. My roommate and I complete everyone of them immediately and have never heard of anyone winning.
* yes. while it's nice that ResNet is offered, the wireless service is entirely too slow for a university as large as N.C. State.
* no
* Thanks
* I think Resnet should provide wireless all across campus. There are some places (hotspots) that my iTouch won't work in.
* This applies mostly to the walk-in center: When backing up computers, especially before intentional reformatting, it would be preferable if we could be allowed to move essential files from our C: drive to out My Documents, or if we could opt to have our C: (all or part, as necessary) drive backed up as well. This would save headache and potential loss of irrecoverable files. Other than that, thank you for the excellent services!

* Earlier this year, I had to take my computer in for repair to the OIT services and was disappointed by the options offered. When I bought my computer, I was told I would be offered a loaner computer during repairs on my Mac, but it turned out the loaner macs no longer existed. I had to deal with the repairs by myself and without a computer, as the only way to get a loaner would have been to send the computer to apple (where they charge 1000 dollars for a simple repair). I wish there would be some sort of option to get a loaner while having a computer serviced by a third-party, because it would have made things a lot easier. Also, this is no reflection on the staff at the OIT. They were all very friendly and eager to assist. I was very impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly they were (as opposed to visiting a Genius Bar...)!

* Get HD and Digital Channels. I have and HD/ Digital TV and would like to have access to these channels
* No.

* During the day, the internet often slows down, presumably due to downloading, streaming video (such as youtube), and other high-bandwidth content. I might be in favor of selective bandwidth limiting during some times of the day, while I am sometimes the one watching a youtube video or downloading something, I am often simply trying to browse the internet or even check my email or calendar, and a system like that would be nice. But again, it is only a problem during the day, and I would only be in favor of it during the day (when people should be working), evening/night and early morning should remain unrestricted.
* nope

* It would be nice to have the Nomad wireless system throughout the dorms and maybe even the ares around campus.
* We need HD channels for TV.
* no
* -
* I often have to use the Resnet session manager when I reconnect my computer in my room. The sessions constantly fill up, and usually the session manager doesn't let me delete them or has strange glitches. You should consider re-using sessions for the same MAC address rather than filling up all of our sessions with the same MAC addresses.
* no
* no
* i have been very pleased with the quality of the internet and cable connections this year.
* Why don't you offer wireless at Wolf Village?
* GET HD CHANNELS!!!
* Information needs to be accessible. WolfBytes shouldn't have data locked up only within its slide show (nor should any University unit using slide-shows on their flat screens). If you have valuable information, be conscious of the mediums you're sharing it through and their limitations. If you did this, you'd clearly see that it should be available in a more accessible form online... perhaps a webpage with an RSS feed? The student-run channel is horrible my entire time at NC State... a few gems sometimes show on it, but overall it really needs improvement. I want to see students with enough money and support to make something great of it. Can ResNet and OIT provide this? For content, why do we not have camera / media equipment check-outs and asking students that may only want to film content on occasion to do so. So many want their groups featured, why don't we use those groups and their manpower to get some good content created? Why too is this content not being placed on YouTube or another sharing site, where it can be referenced and spread through other means like Facebook, email, etc. This is how students communicate... but is not a new thing. When I came to NC State, it was the WolfWeb, and I assure you, if content was referenceable (one could link to it, or a specific part of it), it would get a lot of play time. This isn't a technological feat only a Research 1 institution could take on... it is storage, it is streaming, and it is a little extra rigor in the processes to put data/content up on the channels like WolfTV and WolfBytes. Come on... make something awesome! One of the questions pertained to use of the Unity labs, I'd like to elaborate. Often I use the Unity Labs to print (and have spent $350+ doing so over my 5 years at NC State). I need a computer to quickly start, to get to my Webmail (since it is easier to send a file to myself than use AFS at times), and to print the files. If you could cut more middle-steps out, it would be wonderful and would have saved me hours. For example, getting print.ncsu.edu to work reliably and not print marred .pdf files or .txt files with giant font and run off pages. I have to use labs because if I do not print from a lab computer, I will not get something that I can reliably turn in to a professor... the failure rate for print.ncsu.edu in printing a file without error is far too high. Also where a Unity lab is has a big effect on how I use it. If I'm in the Library, I want to use a workstation to get work done, as it provides the software I need and those I'm working with can gather around easily (unlike a laptop) whether in the Learning Commons or the stacks. However if I'm working in an area like the Laundry Lab, I need open spaces with hookups (as provided) so I can do quiet independent work, although having workstations are important there only some of the time (particularly printing, sometimes for software but that is far less a need now with VCL). I think a much more conscious effort needs to take place in designing lab spaces. Rows are poor design in areas that are not going to get constant use (ex: D.H. Hill on the 2nd Floor and some college labs where workstations are needed on every desk, and will be used continuously, are examples where row designs work well and should remain) and we need to look at how spaces can be reconfigured to make them more functional. For example, screen-equipped group space rooms are in high demand, as with projector-equipped... why are we not converting labs with low-use over to more collaborative spaces that have screens/projectors. How about equipment checkouts to enable mobile work spaces (portable projectors or other equipment on carts or in kits)? Keeping in mind too, people will not use collaborative spaces if (1) they are not aware if they are available... they need to be reservable or in ample supply, (2) they're not in a destination for working... the Student Centers isn't a place you work at, but the libraries are and sometimes the Laundry Lab. Residence Halls can also be a destination as students are already there and everyone knows where to find them. -- Find ways you can help get and equip collaborative work spaces, make them where possible reserveable so students can rely on them, and put them in places that are work destinations. Finally, I'm concerned that no questions on this survey dealt with in-class technology. You know what pisses me off? That my money goes towards technology in classrooms that get used only during class times, then is locked off and inaccessible to student use. The problem isn't that the technology is being placed in locked rooms... having it during class is great, the problem is that locking the rooms and not letting students access them (or better, reserve them) during non-class times is not something that has to be done. Faculty members will spew over-protective rationale for why their buildings can not be accessed in the evenings by students - OIT should stand up to this, call faculty out where their rationale are poor, and push for greater utilization of spaces equipped with technology. For the sake of Mr. Wuf, it's getting to the point that administrators in Student Affairs are running an astroturf (fake grassroots) campaign for a new student center to increase the space for students, which will likely run students $150-$500 extra a year in fees. Use your engineers to find a key/fob check-out system that would work for accessing technology equipped-spaces and doing campus-wide room reservations. Use your administrators to work on policies that can meet student needs while satisfying faculty fear-mongers. OIT is standing by watching hundreds of millions of dollars of assets go under-utilized (buildings/equipment) and thinks it is acceptable. When will OIT wake up and realize how they could be a catalyst for making great things happen beyond buying new technology? Policy and software can have great impacts... take groupware for an example... OIT needs to actively look at how policy and software can be employed on a University-wide scale to the benefit of the student body, particularly in how it can affect better use of the spaces we already have. Thank you for consideration of my ideas.
* It is very difficult to receive a strong wireless signal from the rooms in Bragaw. I think a lot of students would enjoy the ability to use the wireless access from anywhere in their room without the internet cable connected.
* no
* I was unaware of many of the services that ResNet and the Office of Information Technology provided to us, until I took this survey. I think that OIT should do a better job of promoting these services and letting students know that they are available. I am not a very technologically literate person, nor do I use computers very often but I was more than pleased with my ResNet service on campus. Internet access is essential to success here at NC STATE.
* no
* I just want to make a suggestion about the fact that i think there should be a stronger NC State wireless signal that reaches Wolf Village residents so that wolf village residents can have dependable wireless capabilities.
* The cost of cable on campus should be a criminal offense. It is insane that the University is allowed to rip off students and/or their parents with these exorbitant charges.
* I really hope I can use wireless in the dorm. The wireless internet access in the dorm and library is so low.
* none
* I believe that ResNet should not be advertised as an extra for students living in dorms. Wired broadband connections were something I expected when I decided to come here. Charging students $90 a semester for a broadband connection is a lot, but the bandwidth has slowly decreased over the course of the year. Make sure you are delivering what you advertise!!!!
* I disagree that Cable TV should be forced on students who live on campus. Not everyone watches TV in their rooms. Likewise, forcing an extra charge for a service a student doesn't use does not appeal to me. I am however very interested in learning about being able to watch TV on my computer (as I do not currently own a TV).
* I have been waiting for HD programming for a couple of years the only way I can get it now is through an antenna. HD service would be really nice.
* HD service on cable would be great, otherwise ResNet and Cable have been pretty good this semester, with the exception of the occasional cable audio dropout, which lasts between a few seconds and a few hours. ResNet also had a few dropouts during the semester, but was mostly reliable and very fast.
* My wireless internet does not pick up in my room so I always have to use my ethernet cord in my room. It seems like everyone else's does pick up in their room though. I like ResNet and it keeps things convenient.
* IBM no longer makes PCs. There are, however, older Thinkpads made by Lenovo that still have the IBM logo for initial marketing purposes. Therefore, IBM and Lenovo should be counted as one in the statistics.
* I think that wireless should be available on the tenth floor of Carroll.
* If possible, it would be great to get wireless access in more of the lounges in the dorm rooms, especially in Sullivan and Lee halls.
* It would be nice if wireless broadband connections were available in more locations.
* No
* no
* Every other collage that i have visited has free internet access in the dorm rooms and free cable. I find that NC State must enjoy taking as much money from its students as possible.
* I would love better wireless in the dorms- I get absolutely no nomad/wireless service outside of the C building- it would be nice to be able to work outside and not have to buy my own wireless router.
* Good Job Lads
* no
* I would have enjoyed having an option to have HD programming in my room this year.
* HD channels need to be made available to those who are willing to pay for it!

* You all are doing a good job, I just don't understand why things have to be so darn expensive.

* No
* Overall, I have been very satisfied with resnet. I did have a problem with running multiple operating systems on 1 computer, where the network would lock me out, because it thought I had too many devices. This was not satisfactorily solved. I would like to see more wireless, but other than that, I have been very satisfied.
* the wireless internet in the library could be better in the Stacks
* no
* nope
* No, I was satisfied with what I had.
* I often have trouble with my computer recognizing multiple networks when on the Resnet Ethernet connection. Sometimes I get a local networks only error. Vista is quite finnicky about networks and I think the hub system confuses it periodically.

* The HELP desk is awesome. Keep up the good work - I've called 3 total times over two years, and all three times have been super nice people. I hate TV, please don't make it part of the residence hall tuition. It's a service not everyone wants. Wireless needs to be better in Alexander Hall because I can't get it in my room - have to use a cable.

* I use Linux, therefore, I do not have a need for antivirus. On windows, I use Comodo Internet Security, which scores 96% vs TrendMicro's 27% on the proactive security tests. (It's a firewall too.) See: http://www.matousec.com/projects/proactive-security-challenge/results.php. Please bring back at least basic support for completely (software) crashed or unusable computers. I recommend offering a streaming cable package that includes local news and educational channels only.

* There were some problems with the wired internet cutting in and out in Gold and I submitted a work request but you are not part of the NCSU work request forum. If ResNet was tied into the work request, it would be easier. If the computers drivers were on a mass produced disc, or there was a program which updated the drivers for the schools computers to where it was that easy to print from our laptops or desktops, a huge portion of computer lab usage would be alleviated. Also please put a mass power down switch on the lab computers. Its painful to see them on all night when the labs are closed and no one is using them. Even an application which could be run from a main server to where it shuts down lab computers. That would take a chunk of cost out of the energy portion of spending for NCSU.

* Channel 6 (NBC) on my cable this year and last was very distorted at times and if the cable wire itself was bumped it would change it. Therefore, I would have to move the cable wire around to get a clear connection. I have no idea what the problem was, but when I tried to put in a maintenance to the ComTech service department the link I clicked on pulled up a page that read Page Not Found. So, I never got it looked at.

* I love the internet speed, the only reason I want to stay on campus. I have even joked with my Dad about keeping me in college forever! I would like to have cable, but it is too expensive considering almost everything can be watched online for free a week after viewing and TV lounges.

* The wolf village common rooms don't have access to state's wireless internet, or it is really unreliable and disconnects frequently.
* UPGRADE!!!! Always provide the best of services for students. Hopefully start looking into fiber optics for the future!?!? Additionally, Cable could be cheaper, and you know it! O_o
* Please make OfficeScan 10.0 available before the Symantec license runs out. I think its scheduled to be released on May 15. Also, I do not understand why the university switched to trend micro. If the next version is not significantly improved, I will not be using the university provided antivirus. I have installed officescan 8 and reinstalled symantec endpoint on vista. Planning to run a copy of Windows 7 RC1 when it is released and will probably select a new antivirus then.
* This question I would be in favor of cable TV being added as a service required for all students in the residence halls and included as part of our Housing charges if it meant a 10% reduction in rates for the service. was confusing. As long as it means that we get cable at no extra charge for the room (and cut the service of computer fixing or whatever), I would be in favor of it.
* No.
* I think that wireless should be offered to the on campus student. It would make it easier, and i would be able to use more of my devices that require internet connection.
* Make it cheaper or faster for the price. Other than the price, it is great.
* It would be amazing if we got HD... right now the quality is not that great.
* have tools that can properly fully remove symantec, and make sure new virus protection is compatible with NC State's laptops before requiring people to change over. This cause my laptop lots of issues

* In the future, I would appreciate not having to deal with being accused of illegal pirating that I never did. I was in a situation earlier in the year that involved way to much of my time and was entirely the fault of the NCSU OIT network administrators. I would have a much more favorable opinion of this service if there was ever an apology extended toward me because of that experience.

* I think the process by which the cable bill gets split between roommates could be better. When you are first signing up (as a freshmen) and don't really know the person, it's hard to coordinate a day where you both can sign up so that the fee is split. It should do it automatically unless the student goes to the Office to state otherwise.

* It would be helpful to provide students who order cable TV with a small piece of paper listing all of the channel numbers and their associated stations.
* Overall I was happy with the service. I do not understand, however, why we do not get digital and HD channels.
* Wolf Village should be made wireless. NCSU can't be truly wireless until resident halls are wireless as well.

* Provide wireless internet for every building...that means residence halls!!!

* The wireless signal is HORRIBLE in almost any residence hall, especially Wood. PLEASE fix this!!!!! Also, cable is ridiculously expensive. Do NOT make it required, students would never study.

* my yellow ResNet cable often doesn't work, and neither does my roomate's. We use wireless off and on, but the signal is so poor that sometimes we have to go to DH Hill or the Design library. wireless signals need to be MUCH stronger in the dorms.
* No thanks!
* No
* I wish there was more and better wireless in the dorms, I can't get it at all in Bragaw.
* I need to vent here really fast. I understand this is college and we are here to learn and all that stuff, but like 99% of college males here, I like to play video games, online especially. The internet connection here in Bragaw is fine and dandy for laptops and computers, but for online gameplay it is terrible. Anyone trying to have a competitive game online is at a significant disadvantage here. I assume Bragaw has a terrible connection for gaming due to the large number of occupants and high amount of traffic? I never have trouble playing online when I play in other dorms such as Gold or Turlington. I have some friends in my room, suite and on other floors here at bragaw that have the same problem, though they may not take the time to complain about it here. I am not sure what the cause of this lag is, but in online video games such as Halo or Call of Duty, there is a lot of lag. The causal player might not see it, but it is very frustrating to try and play competitively and lose because this connection is apparently not capable of registering certain actions to the games host or servers. I do not think it is fair to pay the same $90 a semester fee, when other dorms have a much better quality connection for online gaming than Bragaw. Im sure most adults may not veiw this as a problem at all, since they did not grow up with video games and blame video games for all school shootings and all that nonsense, but for our generation, online gaming is a major form of entertainment, and is something a lot of college students do, so I believe it should be a consideration when gauging the internet quality, since honestly tons of guys use the internet to play video games more than they do for webassign or maple. In conclusion, I, like many male college students love to play video games online. I, with several fellow Bragaw residents, have noticed that this connection is laggy when playing online games, and find it frustrating that my friends in Turlington, Sullivan, and Gold residence halls have a much better connection for online gaming yet we pay the same price.

* can HD signals be added for the 2009-2010 school year? Most people have hd ready telelvisions now, so why can't basic channels, like news channels and ESPN be available in HD?
* I wish I have purchased cable connection for my TV but it was just too expensive for my financial situation.
* I should point out that the computer lab I use most often is the EOS lab in EBII, not EBI.
* cable is seriously way too expensive.
* Please add NBA-TV Package. This will be my third year on campus and I think it would be a great addition to the cable line up
* It's great! Thanks for all you do!

* The wireless resent in wolf village seems to have extended periods when it is extremely slow compared to elsewhere on campus, when when I am reading full signal.
* I would like to hear more about the full quality television broadcasting on PC's, if it is indeed true quality when it streams.
* Is there a possibility of lowering the cost of cable tv for residents living in single dorms?
* NO
* I think you should take in consideration of the price we have to pay to live at Wolf Village and then to pay for ResNet on top of that. It would be more beneficial if you tied it into one and brought down the price a little to better suit us. Thank you.
* WE really didn't have good service in Syme

* I wish my bandwidth wouldn't be randomly throttled requiring me to switch ethernet ports in my dorm room. Also, I don't see how my choice of cellphone company is relevant to resnet. But overall, good job resnet, best internet connection I've ever had....

* It would be nice to have wireless Internet available throughout the Avent Ferry Dorms instead of just the one common area building.
* Why isn't NC State's iTunesU available under iTunesU Store? I have looked but it is not there. I would think having podcast of lectures would be extremely helpful for the students here. I also agree cable should be included in the price of living in the dorms. It is a great stress reliever and if it being run to the building it not a big deal to let everyone use it.
* Wireless on the tenth floor of Carrol!!!!
* I beleive that resnet does a great job although on Greek court the internet gets a little wacky sometimes. I would also like to see Resnet provide HD channels. Many people now I have HD compatible televisions and regular cable is a waste.

* The picture quality is NOT good at all. My room mate owns a 42 HDTV that we have used all year, and the picture is extremely snowy. We sought help, but there was a $50 charge if our equipment was faulty, and not the University's. We now have it set up on my 20 monitor, and the quality is just as bad. We've seen good quality on the big tvs in the lounges, but our room is no good.

* Don't require students to purchase cable when living in a dorm. It's unfair to those who don't want/need it. I also feel like there is no reason WolfBytes Radio should be broadcasting a separate station than WKNC, the campus station
* I really would like to see HD options on cable and I would much rather view my shows on my tv, not a computer since I have a nice HD widescreen tv but cannot pickup HD channels in the halls.

* Since most people are starting to get HD televisions, I would like to see ResNet have HD television channels for the oncampus cable.
* It has been a pretty good service, however it would be amazing if the wireless access were available ANYWHERE on campus. It is available in most places, but full coverage would be phenomenal.
* why is this survey so long?
* The OIT should also have a geek squad set up for when students computers break. Not just for those bought at the bookstore but for all hardware - some students do not have the means to go to the nearest Best Buy to get their much needed computer fixed.
* I have four computers, each of which I use for different purposes. My primary computer is a Lenovo laptop (Vista) I purchased from the NCSU Bookstore. This laptop always stays in my room unless I need its computing power or screen resolution elsewhere. My Asus netbook (WinXP, Ubuntu) is my portable computer which I carry with me at all times. The embedded computer (Ubuntu) that I use as a desktop serves auxiliary purposes and is used to access Linux services. My PowerPook (Mac OS 10.4) was borrowed for research purposes.

* On a few nights after April 4, my dorm's (Wood Hall, 101D) ResNet connection speed plumetted to unusability. Please investigate this (if you still have the logs). Please increase the wireless load capacity in large classrooms (e.g., Witherspoon Theater, the psych room in Poe, etc.)

* I absolutely love the fact that NCSU has access to Internet2 speeds - this is the coolest part about ResNet. One thing I think we could do to improve, however, is provide download-mirrors for popular software (especially open-source software) -- this would come in handy for individuals looking for a quick mirror to download, say, Ubuntu - granted, it's still fast with Internet2 speeds, but I still would like to brag about NCSU being a major download-mirror for these services (and compete with Virginia Tech :-).

* Watch out for spotty wireless service on higher levels of buildings (i.e. Watauga Hall 4th floor)
* Yes... why are a lot movie channels silent from time to time?
* Last weekend the internet at Wolf Village B went down Saturday morning, and was not fixed until Monday. It would be nice to have a system for fixing larger problems when they arise on weekends.
* The connection speed is amazing and I love that we are able to play games!
* When exam time comes around and a lot of people are in the library using computers and wireless internet, the wireless slows down greatly and it becomes very frustrating to use the internet and that is not what I want while I'm studying for finals.
* Why doesn't wireless work as well in residence halls as it does on other parts of campus?
* noooopee
* My internet connection was terrible. I couldn't get online many times and it was a pain.

* Computers hurt my eyes and I believe that they are ruining my eye site every year that I use them. I wish that someone would invent a way to slow this process, or I wish that our society wasn't so reliant on computers to do work.
* Cable sucks... it's too expensive. I don't know what else to say. Oh, and it would be nice if we could fix the dead spots which people commonly run into for the wireless (if the budget could possibly allow that).

* I was very satisfied with the ResNet internet connection in my dorm. It always worked well. I wish that wireless was available in all of the dorms though because it would make it easier to access the internet.
* I would like to thank and comment on the service ResNet had provided. Especially with the ability of myself carrying my own laptop to campus around and the accessbility to wireless network had superbly enhanced my academic success while I am here as a student. Thank you, ResNet. I also would like to appreciated the fact that ResNet had offered antivirus software and provide computer lab that offers varies free software that most student do not had the opportunity to had. Thank you. Towards the end of every year, being able to reply to ResNet Survey had greatly increase my knowledge of all the possibility ResNet had offered that was not known to me beforehand. Thank you, ResNet. I understand that there had been a lot of effort in updating all the current softwares in almost all the computer lab and replacing old computers. Thank you for doing that for all the students in NCState. Thank you, ResNet. I believe ResNet had done an outstanding job in making sure students had use all the resources available and provided by ResNet. I just want to say Thank You! ResNet. Thank you so much!

* If it doesn't exist, a webpage or other source where usage statistics can be viewed by students would be useful and if kept anonymous a rather interesting data source to play with. I know I would enjoy knowing.
