This picture was taken in our Free Expression Tunnel after students from BGLA painted the tunnel one evening before National Coming Out Day.

Students from BGLA have experienced frequent acts of hatred, anger and violence surrounding their freedom of expression. This type of harassment occurs on every college campus in the country, most times it is simply not reported, talked about, or worse, handled in any manner.

We are forunate at NC STATE to have a proactive administration and student body to support educational opportunities like Project SAFE and other valuable programming efforts.
