To become a Project SAFE Ally, you will need to attend one three-hour training session. The training covers a variety of issues, facts, myths and ally skills. Following training, you will receive a placard to place in your office or window which identifies you as a Project SAFE Ally. If you are interested in becoming a facilitator after you attend the training session you will be able to indicate so on your evaluation form. We are always looking for interested people (staff, faculty, and students) who wants to serve as facilitators. Throughout the year we will provide additional information to those
who have gone through Project SAFE training. In addition, when requested
we will provide a list of names that have participated in training as
allies. |
