Try this practice problem:
Human body temperature is normally 98.6°F. What is this on the Celsius scale?
T(°C) = [T(°F)-32] / 1.80
T(°C) = [98.6 - 32] /1.80
T(°C) = [66.6] / 1.80
T(°C) = 37.0
Since 98.6°F is 66.6°F above freezing, the Celsius temperature is 37.0°C.
