Welcome to Teaching With Calculator-Based Laboratories

These skill development activities will introduce you to some of the many ways calculator-based laboratories (CBL) can be used in the classroom to enhance the learning process.

The first skill development activity will provide a sample of movies, experiments, and pictures that could be used for teaching purposes. Each of these examples utilizes calculator-based laboratories (CBL).

The second skill development activity will introduce some of the creative ways teachers have used calculator-based laboratories (CBL) in their classrooms.

The third skill development activity provides examples of how students have been able to enhance their learning experience by using calculator-based laboratories (CBL).

The fourth skill development activity consists of further examples of projects that integrate the calculator-based laboratories (CBL) technologies. These projects can be found online and demonstrate how technology is being used around the country. They provide some great ideas that you might find useful.
