Moving data from the calculator to the Graphical Analysis Program on the computer

* Graphical Analysis is an inexpensive computer graphing program that can be site licensed. Information on ordering and a sample program are available on the Graphical Analysis website listed above.

  1. Open Graphical Analysis. After collecting data, use the GraphLink connecter cord to connect the computer to the calculator.


  2. Under the File menu, choose Import from TI-83.


  3. On the calculator, hit LINK (to do this hit 2ND and{X, T, q, n} button- LINK written above it in yellow)


  4. You will see a Send Receive Menu. Arrow down to List. Hit ENTER.


  5. You will see a screen like the one shown below.You now need to know where your data is. As you arrow down, to select a List (L1, L2, etc.), you hit ENTER. A mark should appear next to the list you have marked. When you have finished, arrow back to the top and then arrow to the right to select Transmit. Hit ENTER.



  6. When all data has been sent, the calculator says done and the data will appear in columns on the computer. You can now disconnect and work with the data in Graphical Analysis (see manual).
