  1. Always make sure that the CBL interface and calculator are connected. Sometimes the cord appears to be pushed in all the way but it is not.

  2. We have not found any way to backtrack, so remind your students to be careful about how they proceed. If all else fails, they will have to start over with the PHYSICS program.

  3. To get out of a screen, try hitting ENTER, if this does not work, try quit. To quit, hit 2ND and then MODE (QUIT is in yellow above this button).

  4. Both the CBL interface and the calculator will shut themselves down after a period of time. They are only sleeping and your data is not lost. To bring them back hit the ON keys. Do NOT hit the ENTER key on the calculator as you may end up on a different screen.

  5. Make sure that before the students attempt Advanced Analysis they are OUT of the PHYSICS program.

  6. If your time between samples is too small , you will not be allowed the option of a live graph. Some situations, however, require smaller sample sizes. Also, we have found the maximum number of samples is 512.

  7. If you run into any other problems, refer to your owner's manuals and/or technical support.
