Once your movie is complete it can be transferred back to your camcorder to be viewed on a television or saved to a standard VHS tape, saved as a QuickTime file so it can be e-mailed to friends and family, put in a web page, or saved on a CD or a DVD.

In addition to Saving a Movie as a QuickTime File, you will also be instructed how to Save a Movie to a Camcorder to view on your television or save on a standard VHS tape.
Saving a Movie as a QuickTime File
1. Choose File, Export Movie.
2. When the following menu opens, choose QuickTime.

3. After choosing QuickTime, the following menu opens. Choose the format that you want to use.

Each option supplies you with the use for that format.

4. Choosing Expert opens up the window to the right.

From this window you can change the Image Settings or the Audio Settings.

5. Choosing Image Settings will open up the window to the right where you can change the Compression, the Quality and the Frames per Second.
6. Choosing Audio Settings will open up the window to the right where you can adjust the sound settings.
7. Once all the settings have been adjusted, click OK and the window to the right will open up and show you how long it will take to export your movie.

Saving a Movie to a Camcorder
1. To save your finished movie to a tape in your camcorder, firewire your camera to your computer, choose File, Export Movie.

2. The initializing window will open.


3. When the camera is ready, the movie will begin the export process.

After the movie is exported to the camera, it can be shown on a television or recorded to a standard VHS tape.
