These skill development
activities will introduce you to the skills necessary to input images
into your computer and use them to develop unique creations using image
manipulation software. In addition, you will learn how to use a printer
to change these images into usable, printer size, quality photographs.
The first skill development
activity will introduce you to the following ways of acquiring images:
- Scanning images.
- Using a digital
camera to capture images.
- Using existing Web
images.
The second skill development
activity will focus on how to manipulate the images using Adobe Photoshop
once you have acquired them.
The third skill development
activity will review some of the many ways images can be used. Printing,
e-mailing and inserting images are the three modes of output that will be
introduced.
