Session: NC OneMap

4th Strand

Description:

Many county and city governments in North Carolina have local GIS data that can be acquired, viewed, and sometimes downloaded from their sites. Speakers:

Zsolt Nagy, Coiordination Program Manager, Center for Geographic Information and Analysis; Jeff Essic, NSCU Libraries; and Betty Welsh, Social Studies Teacher, Centennial Campus Middle School.

Preparing for this Session:

K -- What do you know already about what information can be found online about your county?

W -- What would you like to know about how NC OneMap is going to improve our access to online mapping?

L -- After you have researched the NC OneMap site, list what you have learned?

Q -- What questions do you have that you can ask the NC OneMap presenters?
