GIS LIVE Sessions
Do research on Web. Learn about the topic and how GIS is
being used. Formulate some problem questions: such as How do police
use GIS to stop crime? Make a list of possible questions.
Activity 3: GIS LIVE
in Your Neighborhood
Students preview project descriptions and brainstorm
how they think GIS is LIVE in their neighborhood. Compare and contrast
the project descriptions for GIS LIVE to what is being done in your
own community. What did you find? What suggestions can you make?
