GRANTS 2000-2001 MBNA Excellence in Education Grants A contiuum grant provided by the MBNA Education Foundation for the purchase of water test kits. The $5000.00 grant was used to purchase an additional 30 water test kits to allow teachers to begin an inquiry water testing project with their students. The data collected is added to a database on the web where it can be used by teachers from around the state for comparison studies. 1998-1999 MBNA Excellence in Education Grants A grant provided by the MBNA Education Foundation for the purchase of water test kits. The $9945.00 grant was used to purchase 60 water test kits to allow teachers to begin an inquiry water testing project with their students. The data collected is added to a database on the web where it can be used by teachers from around the state for comparison studies. 1996-1997 Delaware Learn and Serve Continuum Grant A grant provided by the state to continue the project started the previous year. The $2000.00 grant was used to buy additional water testing kits and other equipment needed to continue and expand the project. 1995-1996 Delaware Learn and Serve Grant A grant provided by the state for a community service project. The $2500.00 grant was used to begin a water testing program at Ingram's Pond to provide information to the local community on the water quality of the pond.
