Carlos
Curto came from Spain to the United States as a Fullbright scholar to
pursue a Master of Science degree in Physics Education. He began his education
at the University of New Hampshire and is continuing his graduate work
at North Carolina State University.
His research interests include the use of hypermedia in science teaching and the role that visualizations and animations play in complex conceptual understanding. Additionally, he is interested in the effects of technology on the self-regulated study habits of K-14 students. He has assisted Dr. John Park with an undergraduate class for secondary science teachers which stressed the importance of a strong technology background for today's science teachers by providing varied technology instruction throughout the course. |
