| Mary Ellen Durham received
her Ph.D. in Science Education from North Carolina State University in 1994.
She is currently an Assistant Professor of Education and the Director of
Instructional Technology for the School of Education at Campbell University,
Buies Creek, North Carolina. She teaches science methods with the Campbell
undergraduate teacher preparatory programs and research and advanced curriculum
with the Campbell master-level programs in education.
Her current research interests include the use of microcomputer-based laboratories for teaching science. In addition, she is researching the impact this teaching method has on the attitudes of elementary teachers and students toward science and how it affects their achievement. |
