College Media Association has announced the winners of its annual Best of Collegiate Design contest, with N.C. State's Agromeck and Technician among the finalists. Now in its 19th year, the Best of Collegiate Design honors student designers in 23 categories. More than 1100 entries were received from 74 schools.

NCSU Student Media sent four students and two advisers to the National College Media Convention Oct. 26-30 in Orlando, Florida. The group attended informational sessions on topics ranging from photography, design and writing to recruitment, management and running meetings. They even brought home a few awards. Take a look at what was learned.
