WKNC Program Director Bri Aab and Operations Manager Michael D'Argenio will represent the station this week at College Broadcasters, Inc.'s inaugural National Student Electronic Media Convention in Atlanta, Ga. As part of the event, Bri and Michael will broadcast live from the convention via cybercast on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET.

WKNC 88.1 FM has partnered with Student Government to present its first "Fridays on the Lawn" concert of the fall semester. The free event happens Friday, Oct. 12 from 6-8 p.m. on N.C. State's Harris Field. Food will be provided by Marco's Pizza on Hillsborough Street.
